A Senior Lecturer and Researcher at Robert Gordon University with a love of stories! Rachael’s research focuses on place, heritage and storytelling in contemporary society with a particular interest in supernatural tales. In 2019 she worked with Stewart to build the Orkney Folklore Trail, and is now involved in national and international storytelling research projects. She also has a professional background in events, tourism and marketing.

A PhD research student at RGU developing sensor systems for health monitoring in Smart Homes. Extensive software development and deployment experience with web and mobile solutions.

Two time RGU Alumni (MSc International Tourism and Hospitality and BA Hons Event Management) with a keen interest in tourism, particularly sustainable tourism and tourist trails. Previous fundraising experience throughout University for various charity events and for an international trip to India to conduct a health and wellbeing initiative for children in partnership with Manipal University.
